As a little girl I enjoyed roaming, trudging the dusty roads of Wade Station, North Carolina.  It was wonderful. I was barefoot, wore cheap garments (literally called rags) , handed down from Thrife store finds.

Some sixty plus years later, I still BEAM.  Seriously, I glow.

One thing I know and shall never have reason to doubt; My GranDADDY truly loved me! He purely loved my "too dark skin".  Yes, he wanted nothing but the best for Me, always.

No, he never in the twenty-eight years that he nurtured, tutored  and loved me, HE NEVER LIED ! Yes, My grandfather (Je) ROME WALTERS was a moral and upright man for Eighty-four glorious wonderful years.

GOD blessed Me by placing Me in this fine gentleman's arms when I was six months old.

Thank You GOD!
Yes, You are AWESOME! Thank You for teaching Me Cruelty is not Courage. A lie can NEVER be made true.
